Inca Jungle to Machu Picchu: The Inca Trail through the jungle (Jungle Inca Trail to Machu Pichu) is a new route offered to tourists who did not come to occupy a place in the traditional Inca Trail. For a mixed adventurous break with bicycles (Inca Jungle) and walking through a recently discovered and visited during the trip we will have the opportunity to visit Inca archaeological sites such as Huamanmarca the original Inca Trail. This is one of the most amazing and exciting trips where you can appreciate the diversity of flora and fauna typical of the area eyebrow rainforest of Cusco to Machu Picchu arrives pole.

This tour combines downhill mountain biking and a jungle trek to Machu Picchu. This tour does not require lengthy advanced booking.

Inca Jungle Machu Picchu 4days and 3nights

Trekking Day 1: Cusco – Santa Maria

The Tour will begin at your hotel where you will be picked up and transported through the Sacred Valley and to Malaga High Pass (4350m / 14,270ft). From there we will have a safety briefing and start biking on our mountain bikes down to the jungle. In the afternoon, we will arrive at the jungle village Santa Maria (1,500 m/4,950 ft). Our camp will be settled at Santa Maria.

trekking Day 2: Santa Maria – Santa Teresa

We begin the day early and hike through the jungle highland. On our hike we will be able to observe beautiful landscapes, local people and native plants and animals. In the afternoon we will arrive at our campsite for the day, Santa Teresa.

trekking Day 3: Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu pueblo)

After four to six hours of walking in the morning, we arrive at the train station, which will take us to Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu pueblo). Night three will be spent in Aguas Calientes in a hotel.

trekking Day 4: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Early in the morning we will begin walking up to Machu Picchu. At the arrival to Machu Picchu our guide will give us a walking tour (approximately 2 hours) and after this you can explore the mysterious city by yourselves. If you still have energy, you can also climb Huaynapicchu (2,720 m/8,923 ft). It takes 45 minutes to reach the top of Huayna Picchu and you will get a magnificent view over Machu Picchu and all its surroundings.

You will later meet your guide in Aguas Calientes (from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes can be reached by bus or by foot) for lunch (this lunch are not included in the cost of the trek) and to receive your train tickets back to Cusco. The train ticket to Ollantaytambo is included in all tours. Once you arrive in Ollantaytambo, a bus will take you back to Cusco.

Cancellations

In the event of a cancellation we need to be informed in writing. Cancellation charges plus forfeiture of the non-refundable deposit will be applied as shown below calculated from the day written notification is received by Cusco Native.
